Meet Chef Dupree Braswell

Executive Chef Dupree Braswell is a native of the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and was most recently executive chef at Washington Marriott Georgetown. In addition to Seventh State Restaurant & Lounge, he also oversees the culinary direction of Hip Flask rooftop bar, the Greatroom bar, M Club and the hotel's catering. A graduate of Johnson and Wales and a second-generation Marriott associate, Chef Braswell brings over 17 years of culinary leadership experience to the hotel. Seventh State's dining experiences feature fresh, seasonal menus sourced from both local and Mid-Atlantic purveyors.
